Workshop
The Sub-DIC facility at NIPGR periodically organizes trainings / workshops/ symposiums/ seminars in Bioinformatics. Every year, the facility accepts a limited number of B.Tech/ M. Sc./ MCA students from various universities and institutes as project trainees. The institute provides training to the selected candidates and they are given a fixed amount of stipend during their training period. They work at the center for a period of 6 months during which they are introduced to various aspects of bioinformatics.
The Sub-DIC at NIPGR also organises an annual short term workshop in Bioinformatics offering exposure and hands on intensive training in systems Biology, Bioinformatics applications in agriculture, genomics and proteomics. These short courses are useful for understanding the developments in different aspects of Bioinformatics.
